Pawel Tomasz Wasilewski popularly known by the name Paul Wesley, is an award-winning actor producer and director most well-known for his part in the popular television drama series The Vampire Diaries. His role on the television show has earned him numerous awards, nominations and accolades. These include those of the Teen Choice Awards and the "Young Hollywood Awards". Wesley was raised in New Brunswick New Jersey, United States. During his high school years he showed an interest in acting. Then he attended Rutgers University. However, after realizing that he was gifted acting as an actress, and knowing being able to earn a living out of his acting talents the school was closed. In the beginning, he was a part of an episode of the American TV show Another World. Two years later he appeared in a lead role in "Wolf Lake," a popular TV show that which aired through the CBS network.
