Jennifer Tilly's birth occurred on the streets of Los Angeles, California on September 16th 1958. The conditions were horrible. Her mother, a failed teacher and actor, was a salesperson for cars while her dad was an automobile salesman. Jennifer was the oldest of her siblings attended many theater shows along with her mother. Jennifer was impressed. Jennifer's divorce came about when she turned five. Jennifer spent the majority of her childhood in British Columbia when her mother moved there with the four children. Jennifer was not able to get a good education, despite being a gifted kid. As a child Jennifer often became targeted by bullies in schools across Canada. In high school her passion for theater started to diminish. In an effort to counter this, her mother helped her participate as an extra in various productions. She was inspired by her mom to encourage all of the kids in her family to have a passion and interest in the art. Then she began doing something.
